Sun-Kissed Bride at Dead Horse Point

It was a sunny afternoon when I phoned one of my Brides to discuss her upcoming wedding. Spring of 2020 was not a usual year in planning or celebrating a long awaited wedding. As couples dreams were postponed worldwide and familes were physically separated, couples were scurring for alternate dates, planning elopements or simply recovering from the shock their dream wedding was not coming to fruition. My Bride was frustrated and disappointed as one can imagine. So, looking out my window at the incredible scenary in front of me, I asked my Bride, "do you have your wedding dress with you". She replied, yes, it is hanging up, now I don't know when I will be wearing it". So, I looked at the calendar, made a quick weather check and said, "can you come out to the desert this weekend for a bridal shoot in one of the most gorgeous sites in the world?" She started packing her bags, accessories, cowboy boots and fiance', (with dress carefully hidden), and they began the four hour drive out west.

Spring of 2020 was an unusual year in planning or celebrating a long awaited wedding. As couples dreams worldwide, were postponed and familes were physically separated, couples were scurring for alternate dates, planning elopements or simply recovering from the shock their dream wedding was not coming to fruition. My Bride and Groom, Danielle and Jonah, were frustrated and disappointed as one can imagine. Inviations had already been sent out, their custom made Ketubah showing their initial wedding date was specially delivered from Israel and custom design wedding favors and a beautiful canvas as their guest book, were hidden away in a closet.
